Take a proactive step with the following action item: send an email introducing your faculty mentor from your research site and your mentor from your home institution. These two faculty members may not know each other. They will appreciate your taking the time to grow their networks. If you are able to do this while following through on their advice and letting them know about your accomplishments, you will strengthen your mentor-mentee relationship.
