On August 12, 2026, The Leadership Alliance will host a National Town Hall Symposium at the historic Union Chapel in Oak Bluffs, Martha’s Vineyard, as part of the Charles Ogletree Public Forum Series.

This timely and thought-provoking convening will bring together national leaders in business, technology, workforce development, education, public policy, and civic engagement for a powerful conversation on Innovation, AI, and the Future of Work.

As artificial intelligence rapidly reshapes industries, labor markets, education, and leadership, this symposium will examine how institutions, communities, and individuals can intentionally prepare for a changing future while preserving equity, purpose, and human connection.

The event will also feature The Leadership Alliance's recently released book, A Legacy of Purpose, authored by Malcolm Allen and published by Forbes Books. The book celebrates more than 30 years of The Leadership Alliance's impact in developing the nation's research workforce and highlights the remarkable achievements of our students, alumni, faculty, and institutional partners.
