Melonie D. Parker is an award-winning corporate leader and a compassionate advocate for people, currently serving as Vice President of Employee Engagement at Google. With a career spanning more than three decades, Melonie has become a masterful architect of talent strategy, known for her unique ability to blend high-level business objectives with a deep, personal commitment to mission success across the globe. She expertly navigates the intersection of strategy and human connection, ensuring every workforce she leads is not only high-performing but truly cohesive and ready for the future.

As an innovative C-suite thought leader and global Human Resources executive, Melonie is dedicated to building human capital capability by aligning organizational systems and talent to drive sustainable growth, bold innovation, and a vibrant, inclusive culture.

Parker serves on the Board of Directors for The Executive Leadership Council, Thurgood Marshall College Fund and Hampton University’s Board of Trustees. In addition, Parker serves on Villanova University’s Graduate Education Advisory Council and she is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and The Links, Incorporated. Prior to Google, she served as the Vice President of Human Resources & Communications at Sandia National Laboratories where she oversaw human resources, health benefits, and employee services. She was also responsible for Sandia’s communications efforts which included strategic planning, executive communications, media relations, external branding, community affairs, and internal communications.

Parker also held a variety of leadership roles across her 17-year tenure at Lockheed Martin,managing employee relations, staffing, compensation and benefits, and K-12 outreach initiatives. She is also a graduate of Lockheed Martin’s Executive Assessment & Development Program—a rare accomplishment for human resources professionals.

Parker holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from Hampton University and an M.A. in Human Resources from Villanova University.

A decorated executive, Parker has earned widespread acclaim for her visionary leadership. Recent honors include the UNCF President's Award and the AAFEA Ebenezer Bassett Award.
