Faculty Grant Writing Coaching Group

Thank you to those that shared or applied for The Leadership Alliance Grant Writing Coaching Groups. The first round of the application process is now closed. The Leadership Alliance will host an online webinar on July 20th for eligible applicants. The webinar will cover how to develop a research portfolio, an overview of the Specific Aims page, how to draft a Biosketch, and the overall grant evaluation process. The second round of applications will be due in late August and the launch of the Grant Writing Coaching Group will occur after the Labor Day holiday.

Eligibility Requirements

Preference will be given to faculty from minority-serving (Leadership Alliance Member) institutions. Individuals from groups underrepresented in biomedicine, encompassing all relevant social, behavioral, and health sciences, are strongly encouraged to apply. Applications are encouraged from any individuals with a demonstrated commitment to increasing the full participation of underrepresented groups in biomedicine.

  • A US citizen or permanent resident
  • A faculty member from a Leadership Alliance institution
  • Leadership Alliance alumni
  • A Postdoctoral Fellow from a minority-serving institution
  • Currently preparing or planning an NIH or NSF grant application
